L is for Lavender.
There is a Lavender farm on Cape Cod in Dennis, Massachusetts. Although we've passed the blooming season there were still a few hanger-oner's. It was a grey and misty day, the lavender plants were a silvery green. The lavender blossoms were quite lovely.

I love lavender--the leaves as well as the flowers--so aromatic!
I love lavender. When I was in Seattle a couple of weekends ago there were blooms still hanging on too. have a great Wednesday!!
Lavender in the mist. What else could you ask for. I can almost smell it.
Funny how those Wednesdays come so quickly.
Sweet purple lavenders with a touch of silver everywhere.
Beautiful choice for 'L'.
Hapyy ABC WEDNESDAY.
My 'L' for LAUGHTER & 'L' for LIFELINE here
So beautiful. I love this flower. This summer I planted one in my garden. I hope it will blossom next summer.
Lavendar is such a magic plant, because the oil is good to protect one against insects, the soap is wonderful and it's no wonder that it is mentioned in poetry. Still it's a modest plant and you have to look for its beauty if you have only one single flower. The more flowers the more impressive!
Thanks for visiting.
Beautiful "L" post. Does Lavender have a nice fragrance?
One of my favourites! I have just bought some lavander oil which we all use as a calming substance for sleepless nights etc!
Lavender is one of my favourite scents.
So calming.
Bear((( )))
I guess they were hanging on just for you and ABC Wednesday. Good shot.
I love that picture! I love lavender, and I love how you've focused on the blooms in the front and let the background blur out.
I love lavenders especially their smell oh so relaxing. Lovely L photo subject:)
I LOVE lavender!
L IS FOR LOVABLE, at THE MANE POINT
Love your lavender...
We get a slightly different variety out here on the west coast in the spring...
My lavender is almost finished for this year, too, but there are still those hangers on that lend a beauty to the end of the garden's glory.
