Mahane Madness

Come on! Let's go shopping.
Be sure to use all of your senses - sight - sound - taste - smell..... and
don't forget to convert your dollars to shekels and ounces & pounds into grams & kilos.

Are your bags filled?

Wow, you've got the shuk totally covered! Good job. Hope to bump into you there someday, maybe at the halvah stand? (I'll be the other one with the camera.)
Shalom shalom.

In my next incarnation I want to be a vendor in the shuk. When we're in Jerusalem we start each day with a shopping trip to the shuk. Don't forget to try the spice shop near the south entrance.

I love the pictures of the market. Draws up all kinds of ancient feelings. How long have such markets been in existence! Aren't they at once universal and particular to their setting?
